Nereto's patron saint festival: celebrations in the church of San Martino, a historical re-enactment, the traditional San Martino Fair with producers and artisans, and the food fair in Piazza Cavour with Nereto-style turkey, chestnuts and new wine. It takes place every year around 11 November: the dates shown are those of the last published edition.
An ancient fire festival on the night before the Feast of the Immaculate Conception: the "faugni", large bundles of burning reeds, are carried through the old town of Atri, with music and stalls selling liquorice, wine and local sweets. It takes place every year between 7 and 8 December; the programme for the new edition has not been published yet.

Teramo celebrates its patron saint on 19 December with services in the Cathedral and a procession with the saint's relics through the old town. The programme for the new edition has not been published yet.
Over 100 performers in the old town recreate life in Palestine two thousand years ago, up to the Nativity scene. In 2026 the 45th edition took place on 6 January from 5:30 pm, with free entry and food stalls serving wine and local specialities.
One of the most original carnivals in Italy: masks and satirical groups take over Piazza del Popolo, with the mask competition and the final party on Shrove Tuesday. It usually runs from the last Thursday before Lent to Shrove Tuesday (in 2026 from 12 to 17 February): the dates shown follow the 2027 calendar, pending the official programme.

A FISE western riding venue a few minutes from the hotel: it hosts the rounds of the ARAM regional reining championship (IRHA, FISE and NRHA circuits), with multi-day shows, as well as roping competitions. In 2026 there were five rounds, from March to October, with the Adriatic Derby in July and the Adriatic Futurity in October; the 2027 calendar will be published by ARAM. The most famous jousting tournament in central Italy: a historical parade with over a thousand people in costume, and knights from the six districts charging the "Moor" with their lances at the Campo dei Giochi. Two events a year: the July joust (in 2026 on Saturday 11 July) and the Sant'Emidio joust in August (in 2026 on Sunday 2 August).
Teramo's big international youth handball tournament: every year in the first week of July, teams from all over the world play in sports halls across the province. Dates for the 2027 edition have not been published yet.
Night-time trotting races under the floodlights, from June to August; in 2026 the racecourse hosted the final of the Italian Trotting Drivers' Championship (16 August). The race meeting calendar is published on the racecourse website.
